The Project

A global pharmaceutical company set out to modernize its content technology stack, centralize production, and deliver personalized digital experiences at scale across its brand and partner portfolio.

Our Approach

Upstream Partners embedded within the client's teams to provide day-to-day program leadership and create the structures needed to move the transformation from planning through execution. The work included:

Establishing program governance with clear decision rights, accountability, and escalation paths

Mapping potential local restoration initiatives and relevant stakeholders

Embedding consistent ways of working across internal teams, agencies, and technology partners

Onboarding vendor partners and defining how the parties would work together

Building the operating model and infrastructure for producing new sites and personalized content at scale

Impact

The company now operates its brand websites through the new platform, with content produced through the centralized capability established by the program. The program has realized its ambition to radically improve speed and cost of content creation and continues to expand to more domains.
